Garden Memories



I spent some time this morning weeding in my rose bed, and it made me nostalgic for the flower beds I had created when we lived in Elizabeth, CO. Every time I added a new plant or rejoiced at the reappearance of a favorite perennial, I felt like an artist adding a stroke of color to my canvas. I love my flower beds here in Castle Rock, but they will never have the same meaning to me as those I left behind...
